Just what we need, a "free" OS filled with advertisements like we see with many of the free iPhone applications. Add in net usage and purchasing tracking and all your personal data entrusted to Google Inc. It's Linux under the hood so why bother? Amazingly at first Google will target netbooks, which consumers dumped Linux for Windows on already so what gives? My personal opinion, if you want an alternative OS get Ubuntu or some other aged open Linux distribution. In 1996 I made the statement, "the Internet will become like a trailer park that sits behind a strip mall in a couple of years."
