Google Chrome is a web browser created by Google, well Apple and a couple others including Google, that in my opinion is nothing more than a windowing system for Google's on-line applications. Yea, Google Docs looked great in Chrome and they even give me a nice "Add To Desktop" or "Quick Launch toolbar" menu item. WOW! Web links on the desktop, who knew? Also see Mozilla Prism

Faster than Firefox 3? Not by much on my machine, about even I'd say with maybe just a tad bit more speed that really isn't noticeable, but Safari has that same tad bit of speed too - Chrome is built off an older Safari back end after all...

We will see this browser on Android phones yes! But on my desktop I could care less. I do use some Google tools, like Reader, Docs, Gmail, which all work great in Firefox along side my much loved extensions and other on-line applications. If Google's apps start to suffer in Firefox I will just find somewhere else to go if they pull that hand, no big deal.

These are my thoughts of this browser, I just have one more, it's ugly like all Google apps! That white and blue need to go! They should have named it Google Drab! Actually, Chrome is a better name for Safari if you ask me.
